Contenuti | Il corso intende fornire una conoscenza di base della storia dell’arte nella penisola italiana dall’età tardo-antica all’età gotica. |

Obiettivi formativi | 1) Conoscenza della produzione artistica fiorita nella penisola italiana tra i secoli IV e XIV; |
Prerequisiti | Conoscenze generali delle vicende storiche dei secoli IV – XIV; conoscenze generali della geografia fisica dell’Italia e dell’Europa. |
Metodologie didattiche | Lezioni frontali, esercitazioni in aula, seminari, sopralluoghi. |

Contents | The course aims to provide a basic knowledge of art history in the Italian peninsula from the late-antique to the Gothic period. |

Course objectives | 1) Knowledge of art history in the Italian peninsula from the Late-antique to the Gothic Period; |
Prerequisites | General historical knowledge, 4th-14th centuries; general knowledge of Italian and European physical geography. |
Teaching methods | Lectures, classes exercises, seminars, monuments and museums visits. |
Evaluation methods | 1. The oral final exam is aimed at evaluating the student’s knowledge of the topics covered in the course. In order to pass the exam, the student has to be able to identify and contextualize artists and their works, and to demonstrate a satisfying grasp of technical terminology. |
