L'insegnamento si suddivide in due parti:

• nella prima parte si svilupperanno le competenze sia grammaticali che sintattiche della lingua, con l'obiettivo di raggiungere il livello B2 nei quattro ambiti di competenza della lingua: listening, speaking, reading, writing;

• la seconda parte dell'insegnamento si concentrerà sull'acquisizione di competenze linguistiche specialistiche del linguaggio del turismo, sull'analisi testuale e sulla comunicazione del turismo in lingua francese, sia nei media "tradizionali" che nei "new media".

I testi indicati, come i siti internet, sono puramente indicativi. È possibile approfondire gli elementi grammaticali su qualsiasi altro testo che preveda il conseguimento del livello B2.

Lo studente dovrà raggiungere il livello B2 del CEFR, riuscendo pertanto a comprendere testi scritti e orali di difficoltà medio-alta, dimostrando di sapersi orientare sia nelle situazioni comuni che nei contesti specialistici del turismo.
Dovrà altresì dimostrare di conoscere e comprendere il linguaggio specialistico del turismo.
Lo studente dovrà dimostrare di saper comunicare in modo chiaro ciò che ha appreso durante il corso, di saper esprimere le proprie considerazioni nell’ambito degli argomenti trattati.
Lo studente dovrà dimostrare di aver acquisito le competenze linguistiche e le conoscenze teorico-concettuali affrontate durante il corso, in modo da poter discutere argomenti in materia di comunicazione del turismo in lingua francese.

A2 CEFR

Il corso si svolge mediante lezioni frontali e con supporto informatico. Sono previste lezioni di conversazione la cui frequenza sarà considerata parte integrante della valutazione finale.

L'esame prevede una prova scritta superata la quale si accede alla prova orale.

Per gli studenti-lavoratori iscritti ai progetti di formazione e P.A. 110 e lode sono previsti seminari di didattica integrativa per consentire una migliore comprensione degli argomenti oggetto dell’insegnamento. Gli studenti potranno, attraverso test di autovalutazione presenti nei volumi in adozione, verificare il livello di apprendimento raggiunto. La prova scritta seguirà il modello previsto nei testi in adozione, tenendo conto anche delle linee-guida del Dipartimento per l’erogazione delle attività didattiche a loro indirizzate.

Il voto finale risulta dalla media dello scritto e dell'orale. Il voto è espresso in trentesimi e ciascuno studente può conseguire l’esame con una votazione che va dal 18 al 30/lode. Nella formulazione del giudizio finale troveranno applicazione i seguenti criteri di valutazione:
• Mancato superamento dell’esame: il candidato dimostra di non avere acquisito una conoscenza almeno minima degli argomenti oggetto d’esame.
• da 18 a 21: Livello sufficiente. Il candidato dimostra una conoscenza minima degli argomenti principali dell'insegnamento.
• Da 22 a 24: Livello pienamente sufficiente. Il candidato dà prova di avere acquisito una sufficiente capacità di trattazione degli argomenti oggetto d’esame.
• Da 25 a 26: Livello buono. Il candidato dimostra una buona conoscenza degli argomenti trattati.
• Da 27 a 29: Livello molto buono. Il candidato dimostra di avere acquisito conoscenza molto buona degli argomenti trattati nel corso.
• Da 30 a 30 e lode: Livello eccellente. Lo studente di avere acquisito un’ottima conoscenza degli argomenti trattati nel corso, nonché ottime capacitò di ricerca e approfondimento autonomo, come richiesto dal programma.

Gli studenti lavoratori possono far richiesta di incontri/seminari integrativi e di prove di autovalutazione, al fine di facilitare la preparazione all'esame. Sono in ogni caso invitati a contattare la docente per ulteriori informazioni, iniziative e materiale integrativo specificamente dedicato agli studenti lavoratori.

I non frequentanti sono invitati a contattare il titolare dell’insegnamento per ulteriori chiarimenti circa il programma d’esame.

Gli studenti hanno la possibilità di raggiungere il prerequisito A2 CEFR richiesto mediante lo studio della lingua francese su piattaforma Rosetta Stone e l’obbligo di seguire ulteriori attività, sempre in lingua francese, proposte dalla stessa piattaforma per un numero complessivo di 30 ore, prima di sostenere l'esame finale. Agli studenti sarà richiesta la prova dell'avvenuta esercitazione.

Gli studenti saranno coinvolti in attività di role playing, conversazione, produzione e comprensione di testi, con particolare focus sul lessico e sul contesto turistico.
Si utilizzeranno, a tal fine, contenuti e analisi multimediali e multimodali per far sì che lo studente familiarizzi con linguaggio del turismo, a partire dai registri più "tecnici" della gestione turistica, a quelli più "letterari" della comunicazione degli immaginari turistici.

The course is divided into two parts:

• the study of the English grammar and syntax, with the aim of reaching level B2 CEFR, in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing;
• The course will then focus on the acquisition of the specialized language of tourism, on textual analysis and tourism communication in French, looking at both "traditional" media and "new media".

The texts indicated, like the websites, are purely indicative. It is possible to expand on the grammatical elements in any other text on the B2 level.

Students must reach level B2 CEFR, consolidating the ability to comprehend written and oral texts of medium-high difficulty, and to handle every-day situations, as well as tourism related contexts and both written and oral texts.
Students must also show they comprehend and know the bases of specialized language of tourism and communication.
Students must show they have acquired linguistic competence and knowledge of the theories and concepts studied during the course and therefore be able to discuss the themes of tourism and communication studied in the course.
Furthermore, students must show they have a acquired the linguistic skills and theoretical-conceptual framework studied during the course, and discuss topics within the area of tourism in French.

A2 CEFR

The course is delivered through lectures, with the support of computer and audio-visual devices. Tutoring and conversation classes will be offered, the attendance of which will be taken into consideration for the final evaluation.

The examination consists of a written test, after which you proceed to the oral test.

For student workers enrolled in training projects, and P.A. 110 cum laude, integrative teaching seminars are planned to enable a better understanding of the topics covered in the course. Students will be able, by means of self-assessment tests in the volumes in adoption, to verify the level of learning achieved. The examination may be taken alternatively by means of a written or oral test. The written test will follow the model provided in the adopted texts, also taking into account the Department's guidelines for the provision of teaching activities addressed to them.

The final evaluation is the average of the written and oral test grades. The exam is graded out of 30, passing is 18 minimum; 30cum laude is the maximum. Grades correspond to the following criteria:
- Fail: the student does not show a minimum level of acquired knowledge of the topics studies during the course;
18-21: Sufficient level. The student reaches a sufficient though minimal level of knowledge of the main topics studied during the course;
22-24; Fully Sufficient Level. The student shows she/he has acquired a sufficient knowledge of the topics studied during the course;
25-26: Good level. The student shows she/he has reached a good level of knowledge and comprehension of the topics studied;
27-29: Very good level. The students shows she/he has reached a very good level of a good knowledge and comprehension of the topics studied during the course and has acquired good research skills;
30-30cum laude: Excellent Level. The student has acquired an excellent level of knowledge of the topics studied, the ability to critically discuss such topics.

Working students (lifelong education) can request specific meetings/seminars, as well as mock-tests and other material that may support preparation for the final exam. Working students are invited to contact the Professor for further information, support or study materials.

Non-attending students are invited to contact the lecturer for further clarification of the examination programme.

Students have the opportunity to achieve the A2 CEFR prerequisite by studying French on the Rosetta Stone platform and are required to follow further activities, also in French, offered by the same platform for a total of 30 hours, before taking the final examination. Students will be asked to provide proof of the exercise.

Students will work on role plays, conversation, and production and comprehension of texts, with particular focus on tourism lexicon and contexts.
Students will work with multimedia and multimodal contents and analyses in order to familiarize with the language of tourism, ranging from its more "technical" register, in tourism management, to the more "literary" registers of the communication of tourism imaginaries.
