Metodologie didattiche | Lezioni frontali (visione e commento di rappresentazioni teatrali videoregistrate; analisi e interpretazione dei testi drammaturgici; approfondimenti storico-critici). Il docente si riserva durante il corso la possibilità di predisporre ore di esercitazione e di partecipazione a seminari. |
Metodi di valutazione | 1. Descrizione dell’esame: Prova orale. La valutazione avverrà sulla base della coerenza delle risposte, tenuto conto della completezza delle conoscenze specifiche del candidato in relazione agli obiettivi formativi, e sulla base della correttezza linguistica e della struttura logica dell’esposizione. Durante la prova orale e l’eventuale prova scritta intercorso non è consentito utilizzare dizionari, materiali didattici, dispositivi digitali e simili. |

Programma del corso | Il corso parte da una panoramica essenziale della storia del teatro e della drammaturgia europei dall’inizio dell’età moderna fino alla fine del XX secolo. Attraverso l’analisi di alcune opere fondamentali, soprattutto nella loro componente testuale, e un inquadramento critico delle principali teorie teatrali, si approfondirà poi il rapporto tra teatro e altre arti, soprattutto tra scrittura drammaturgica e letteratura, colto nel suo contesto storico e sociale. |

Course Syllabus | The course starts with an essential overview of the history of European theater and dramaturgy from the beginning of the modern age to the end of the twentieth century. Through the analysis of some fundamental works, especially in their textual component, and a critical framework of the main theatrical theories, the relationship between theater and other arts will then be deepened, especially between dramaturgical writing and literature, captured in its historical and social context. |
