The crisis at the end of the XIX century e new mass society in the most developed countries. Characters of XX century, European dualism towards the Great war. The migrations between XIX e XX centuries. The phase between World wars and the European decay. The modern national ways to rule the mass societies, between democracy and authoritarian drifts. The world economic crisis in 1929, the new role of the states and the new consuptions. Second World war and the new world order. The post-war rebuilding, Cold war, economic miracle, consumption society. Decolonization. The sixties and its social and political-institutional dynamics.
