Course objectives | The students will acquire the necessary knowledge to refine their understanding of the late Baroque Neapolitan architecture between the end of the Seventeenth and Eighteenth centuries, especially in connection with the transformations of the pre-existing heritage. At the end of the course, the students will gain the methodological tools necessary to apply the knowledge to a specific field of inquiry. In particular, they will be able to analyze the religious architecture of the city of Capua transformed between 17th and 18th centuries and in this methodological application they will have to demonstrate autonomy of judgment and technical skills of communication. |
Prerequisites | basic knowledge in History of Architecture and Medieval /Modern History of Art achieved in the previous Bachelor’s Degree (First Cycle) in Cultural Heritage. |
