Obiettivi formativi | L’insegnamento intende fornire le conoscenze di base sulle tecniche della pittura e del disegno nelle diverse epoche, attraverso l’esame delle fonti e delle opere. |
Prerequisiti | Il corso presuppone una conoscenza pregressa di tipo manualistico della storia dell’arte italiana del Cinquecento e del Seicento. Gli studenti che non hanno mai affrontato questo tipo di studi potranno recuperare su un buon manuale per le scuole superiori (testo consigliato: P. De Vecchi, E. Cerchiari, Arte nel tempo, Milano, Bompiani, 1991-1992 oppure |
Metodologie didattiche | Lezioni frontali, esercitazioni/seminari, sopralluoghi, compatibilmente con l'evoluzione della situazione pandemica |

Altre informazioni | La frequenza è obbligatoria. Gli studenti che, per validi e comprovati motivi, non potranno seguire le lezioni (frequenza inferiore all’80%) dovranno concordare un diverso programma con il docente. |
Programma del corso | La trattatistica tecnica e le fonti scritte per la conoscenza di materiali e procedimenti del disegno e della pittura delle varie epoche storiche verranno illustrati cogliendone il rapporto con la pratica operativa testimoniata dalle opere, non sempre riconducibile ad un’aderenza normativa a precetti e ricette, e al tempo stesso mettendole in rapporto con la cultura artistica e letteraria della loro epoca. |

Course Syllabus | The technical treatise and the written sources for the knowledge of materials and processes of drawing and painting of the different historical periods will be illustrated throught the relationship with the practice witnessed by the works themselves, that not always follow a normative adherence to precepts and recipes, and at the same time putting them in relation with the artistic and literary culture of their time. |
