Obiettivi formativi | Il corso permetterà di sviluppare la conoscenza e l’evoluzione della storia dei rapporti politico-diplomatici tra le grandi potenze e i problemi delle relazioni internazionali dal 1919 a oggi. Particolare rilievo sarà dato al ruolo delle grandi potenze: in particolare della Germania, degli Stati Uniti e dell’Unione Sovietica, alle relazioni italo-tedesche e all’integrazione europea. Scopo del corso è quello di dare agli studenti gli strumenti necessari per poter capire e seguire in maniera critica e con autonomia di giudizio le difficoltà delle relazioni internazionali del giorno d’oggi e il ruolo e i problemi dell’Unione Europea |
Prerequisiti | Interesse per la storia e conoscenza dei lineamenti generali della storia contemporanea |
Metodologie didattiche | Lezioni frontali, ci si avvarrà anche dell’uso di strumenti audiovisivi: saranno diffuse immagini e documentari con interventi di storici e di testimoni dell’epoca, partecipazione a convegni e conferenze. |

Saranno distribuite cartine geografiche storiche e altro materiale utile come testi di trattati internazionali o brevi scritti dei protagonisti |

Course objectives | The course will able the students to the knowledge and evolution of the history of political-diplomatic relations between the great powers and the problems of international relations from 1919 to our days. Particular importance will be given to the role of Germany, the United States and the Soviet Union, the Italian-German relations, and European integration. The course aims to provide the students with the tools they need to understand and follow critically and autonomously the difficulties of international relations of today and the role and the problems of the European Union |
Prerequisites | Interest in History and knowledge of the general outlines of Contemporary History |
Teaching methods | Lectures; the students will also take advantage of the use of audiovisual tools: widespread images and documentaries with participation by historians and witnesses; student attendance at conferences and seminars. |
Evaluation methods | oral. Exam assessment is based on the overall level of student performance which takes into account knowledge of course content and clarity, accuracy and appropriacy of language use. |
Other information | Students who follow the lessons can still agree with the professor for an alternative text. Historical geographic maps and other useful material will be distributed such as texts of international treaties or short writings by protagonists |
